That is what we focus on at Sahlah Academy, developing the mindset of our students. For that, we collaborated with the Bridges Foundation, to provide answers to questions students have and learn interactive ways.

Bridges is not about converting people to Islam, it’s about letting people understand the true teachings of Islam. Fadel Soliman said, the founder of the Bridges Foundation. Since we believe in the importance of being able to think independently and build faith through thinking, we develop our methods continuously to help our students. Collaborating with Bridges Foundation is to emphasize our students' learning journey. At Sahlah, we teach students about Islamic subjects such as history, Aqida, Fiqh, Quran, and more. They learn how to practice Islam, and most importantly, how to think and live as Muslims.

Providing a wide range of materials, Bridges has a guided vision and well-planned learning resources. The goals are to fill the knowledge gap students/Muslims could have, build a Muslim and learner mindset, and how to interact with non-Muslims, and become a presenter for Islam.

It’s important for Muslims to present Islam as a culture and way of life to their fellow non-Muslims. This collaboration between Sahlah Academy and Bridges Foundation aims to;

• Enhance the way students learn,
• Provide interactive methods for kids, using games for learning as an example,
• Build the Muslim mindset, where they think, practice, and reflect a good image of Islam,
• Learn how to engage with non-Muslims, not through converting them to Islam, but through presenting Islamic teaching and providing a space for them to ask them inquiries and then answer them. 

A Learning Journey Guided by a Vision

Identifying these goals, the Bridges Foundation provides several learning resources that complement the learning journey of our students at Sahlah. 

After learning academics, Quran, or Islamic sujbects, the students will go through another journey of learning, where they learn how to engage in the non-muslim society and being presenters of Islam. 

Our students will have access to the library of Bridges Foundation, which include:

• Books
• Interactive games
• Lessons and stories 
• Specific learning courses 
• Documentaries about public matters.

The people who could benefit from Bridges Library are parents, students, public speakers, and Muslims who would to become presenters of Islam or those who are interacting with non-Muslims.

The learning process is a life journey, and we are making it easier and guided ensuring easy experience and enjoyable learning.

Here is what students' journey will look like with Bridges Foundation:

1. Students gain knowledge every Muslim needs,
2. Students practice Islam and learn how to integrate it as part of their lives,
3. Students learn Islamic subjects if they are enrolled in our K-12 Islamic education program or any other specific programs.

Then, they go to the Bridges Foundation library,

• To find interactive materials that teach them in easy and funny way,
• And build the mindset they need to be the image and the presenters for Islam,
• They also interact with the community out there, and parents and young students can find helpful lessons that contribute to their children's learning.
